Day Twenty-Three: Cooking
Flood Part Nineteen
“For the love of a dove! I can’t believe it! Honey, kiss me again!”
“Love you darling, I knew things would work out!”
“We’re cooking with gas now!”
“Oooh, I wish we were…bet you’d like that steak now!”
“Food…no more fish…”
“Now I’m drooling, I know that’s not attractive, but I am!”
“Sooo hungry. What are you looking so worried about now sweetheart?”
“Well, we don’t know how high the water rose, we don’t know what we’re going to find on land…”
“Well, that seagull on those rocks over there…that’ll do…”
“Tell me you wouldn’t eat your dove?”
“I would!”
(100 Words)
Oh God! How hungry must they be, but don't eat the dove :-)BTW, your photographs are super too x.
Not sure what kind of emotional trauma were to ensue if they ate the dove…GREAT post!
I'm gonna miss that dove if they eat it, but one more bite of fish is too much to expect of then after all they've been through!! 🙂
Not the dove, please, not the dove! Great post 🙂
Can understand them being fed up with fish. . . but please, don't let them eat the dove. . . the power you have Lisa!PS Love your pics too; absolutely stunning. xx
Surely they wouldn't eat the dove even if they are fed up with fish, but I suppose if you're that hungry you'd eat almost anything!
As always, the dialogue between them is perfect. It makes it all more the real and poignant. And no, please not the dove!
